Odíhg Ràvāzàq (Ràvā /zəq/ [transport] [sense]) is a subtropical Town located in Cêbiki County, Síhtiznur Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Odíhg Ràvāzàq is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Ràvāzàq was founded by Mä̂f̄y Góoīnḱ 'Bucket Sunshine' Vú̄shīsh Ga̋ń̄̌ Sé̄nv Morgan, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Odíhg Ràvāzàq has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 22°C (71°F). Overview

Odíhg Ràvāzàq was founded durring the early 11th century, by Mä̂f̄y Góoīnḱ 'Bucket Sunshine' Vú̄shīsh Ga̋ń̄̌ Sé̄nv Morgan. The establishment of Odíhg Ràvāzàq suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Odíhg Ràvāzàq which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Odíhg Ràvāzàq was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Ràvāzàq is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Odíhg Ràvāzàq is buildings are located arround a single crampt cobblestone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. Odíhg Ràvāzàq's peasent-grade are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Right off the bat Odíhg Ràvāzàq hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Odíhg Ràvāzàq possesses a city-wide Aethary Link which provides Aethary access anywhere within its metropolitan. This allows citizens who can afford the relevant devices access in their places of work, and rarely homes.

Odíhg Ràvāzàq has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Odíhg Ràvāzàq. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Odíhg Ràvāzàq's parks.

Odíhg Ràvāzàq possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.

Odíhg Ràvāzàq has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Odíhg Ràvāzàq's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

Two or more groups of citizens within Odíhg Ràvāzàq hate each other. Their neighbors or the local law have kept things from too-overt violence, but members of the groups will constantly interfere with their rivals and cause whatever misery they can get away with. This hate may spring from recent events, or it may be an inherited spite from old wrongs.

Odíhg Ràvāzàq's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.

Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is short in Odíhg Ràvāzàq.

The Hippogriff near Odíhg Ràvāzàq are known to be quite timid.

Odíhg Ràvāzàq's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Wild Magic energies of tier 2 via chanting.
